Sensory bins provide visual and tactile sensory input as you explore different colors and textures. Dig for dinosaurs, scoop “ice cream” kinetic sand, or sort colors and sizes with pompoms. This year’s tent offers four unique sensory bin experiences.

Perfect for our littlest visitors, the corn pit is an immersive sensory play area where kids can dig, scoop, and move through dried corn for some calming, tactile fun.

Jumping stones are sturdy ground‑level shapes kids step or hop across to get deep‑pressure sensory input and grounding through their feet and legs.

A silent dance party is a high‑energy sensory activity where kids dance with wireless headphones, creating a fun, music‑filled experience without the noise.

Binaural beats are an audio-based sensory tool where kids listen to two slightly different tones that create a calming, focus‑boosting rhythm in their brains.

The award-winning Happy Hippocampus is back for the fifth year in a row with even more ways to play and more fidgets to give away. The sensory play tent is a calming and interactive space designed to engage the senses in a soothing, creative way.

The tent offers an escape from the fair’s louder, more overwhelming attractions, allowing all ages to relax, focus, and explore through touch, sight, sound, and scent in a safe and comfortable environment. Join us after sunset Thursday - Saturday for a silent dance party and on Saturday and Sunday for free workshops.
